Description
Beauty was originally loosely based on the BDSM books by Anne Rice titled 'Sleeping Beauty'. However, it has drastically changed & very little has to do with the books at all. It is a fantasy place for RP with variences in sci-fi technology and a feudal type of society encouraging BDSM type of play/RP. Beauty chargen does not restrict race or abilities-most of everything is up to the player's RP ability. We try to accommodate all players here. We do not enforce BDSM play, or any other kind of play, in OOC area. On the grid, you are likely to see public BDSM displays. The premise is simple: A magical island has an evil ruler, Masters/Mistresses and slaves. I'll leave the rest up to your imagination. If you want to come and be a furry, warrior, wizard, dragon, cyborg, etc...you are welcome. The island is timeless so there are a variety of races/types/creeds in play and everyone is also welcome to just come and hang out at the OOC Lounge. So come to Beauty and make it your home. The Magical Isle of Beauty is a land of passion and slavery, ruled over from the palace by a Sultana of Faerie lineage. The isle exists sometime in-between the 'long, long ago' of Faerie tales and the golden age of piracy, but the strange currents around the isle bring visitors to its shores from all times and places. You may encounter - or be - a person from the distant past, the modern day, or the far future. Some of the residents are not even strictly human - the faerie, the celestial and infernal, werecreatures and anthropomorphic ('furry') peoples all reside on the isle. Beauty is an adults-only Roleplaying MUSH with an emphasis on slavery, sexuality, and BDSM. The name recalls the 'Beauty' series of books, but the MUSH is not set in that world - although it is a place to explore those same themes directly.
