This is a great mud and it is experiencing a huge revival. Lots of new and old blood coming back, new quests, and new ideas being implemented. Friendly staff which is very newbie friendly, come and check it out.

This is a fantastic MUD. The environment is very conducive to the parts of mudding that are really fun: character development and social interaction. There aren't any 'bookkeeping' costs to worry about, eating/drinking/sleeping/saving/etc. so you can focus on the game play. Also, your equipment isn't lost when you die, so there's incentive to keep pushing your boundaries. It's a little daunting at first, as there isn't a lot of worthwhile gear you can get on your own. Fortunately that's where the social interaction part comes in. More advanced players are almost always willing to help new people get started, and either help you get gear, or straight up give it to you. (yes, you can ask me for help if you see me on =]) Also, you will _never_ max out your character - there are always better things to get. The mud is a good balance of people, from high school students to college professors. There are frequently discussions of life, the universe and everything, though mostly focusing on the life part of that. Also, holo has zones that are hard enough that it strongly encourages players to group up, fostering interaction. Last, but hardly least, the World is so huge and varied. Battle with dragons, knights of the round table, indiana jones (actually a wax statue of him, but...) and Father Time himself. Explore Circe's Island, or the 100 acre wood. Hope to see you there.
