New Orleans has always been a city steeped in mystery. It is the largest city in Louisiana. Well known for it's multicultural, multilingual heritage and is one of the oldest cities in the United States. It's due, in large part, to its multicultural heritage that New Orleans is known as one of the most unique cities in the United States. Its architecture is nothing short of beautiful and mesmerizing in places. It's easy to imagine the ghosts of the dead haunting those old sprawling plantation houses and their grounds. But the true mystery of New Orleans lies in its rich Vaudun history. Vaudun, commonly known as Voodoo, is a central part of the city. People still visit the tomb of Marie LeVeau, the famous Priestess, on a regular basis and leave her gifts. Lalin San, which translates to Blood Moon in Creole, strives to blend aspects of the Anita Blake series of books by Laurell K. Hamilton with the innate mystery that is New Orleans and the Vaudun influence that thrives within the city. The game is set in modern day New Orleans without the influence of Hurricane Katrina. Whether you choose to play a powerless human, a master vampire, or a newly infected shifter, one thing is certain; things are never as easy as they seem in the Big Easy. Our CharGen is based on a simple stat system called The Window that takes the emphasis off rolling dice and puts it back where it belongs, on role play, while still providing for conflict resolution. We are currently open in the early beta stages.
