Set in Toronto, Ontario, Metro: Toronto By Night lends a Canadian flavour to World of Darkness roleplaying. Metro supports Changeling: the Dreaming, Mage: the Ascension, Vampire: the Masquerade, Werewolf: the Apocalypse and Mummy: the Resurrection. Join the newest phase in our six year history. Metro is a place that welcomes the dark as well as the light. Many on staff have been overseeing their spheres for multiple years and the staff team has learned how to work with one another. We take both protagonists as well as as antagonists. We have dropped the long narrative backgrounds and now use a simple questionairre for the background to get characters on the grid as quickly as they can (some staff are quicker than others). Plots and storylines are on going. Power use is a judged thing as is combat beyond sparring. We are not a PrP MU. Players can have 1 super (vampire, mummy, garou, mage or changeling), 1 support support character as available (sorcerer, kinain, amenti support, or ghoul). While PK is allowed, we do not enjoy sniper rifles or telenukes to PC or NPC. We will run it but we prefer if a character is to die? That they be given an awesome epic death, rather than sorry you died on the street.

Metro is strictly a roleplaying based environment, unlike MUDs which are text-based dungeon style combat games. The MUSH is set in modern day Toronto, using the gothic-punk setting provided by White Wolf Game Studios. The game revolves around the World of Darkness theme, where supernatural entities roam the world side-by-side with mortals, yet hiding from mortal eyes and manipulating the masses for their own purposes. The following spheres are available at Metro for roleplay: Vampire: The Masquerade, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Mage: The Ascension, Wraith: The Oblivion, and Changeling: The Dreaming. Mortal characters and Mortal+/Hunters are also being accepted.
