This is a nWoD game based on White Wolf's World of Darkness.

  "connect <name> <password>" connects you to an existing character.
  "connect guest" connects you to a guest.
  "create <name> <password>" creates a new character.

  "WHO" tells you who is logged in to the game (case sensitive).
  "QUIT" exits the game and saves your character.

  Once logged on, "help" gives help on specific commands, functions, and
  special topics.  Other 'help' commands include "+help" and "news".

Interested in an open chargen nWoD game? Check out Novo Upanje. Not only is it open CG, it is even an open setting. PCs drive the setting's direction. Staff won't step in to protect a city from invaders, nor will staff step in and create peace. This World of Darkness is what you, the player, create. If it is a dark world with the various races at war with one another then it will be that way as players create this sort of World. If it is a World in which mortals globally discover they are not alone, then it will be due to player's actions working to expose the truth. No easy feat, but here on Novo Upanje anything is possible. We even allow players to create new settings. What you see is not all that exists. If you have a vision of an nWoD setting, add it -- a new city, a park, whatever. How successful or large it becomes depends on you! Now after it is built, the Staff takes over the maintenance for the setting, so that everything remains in line with the rest of the game. This opens up the possibilities of settings to the imagination of all the players and allows the game to grow.

Novo Upanje (Slovenian for "New Hope") is a New World of Darkness MUX , set in the fictional city of San Arden, CA (population 2.3 million). In addition to mortals , the following spheres are supported: Changeling: the Lost Mage: the Awakening Vampire: the Requiem Werewolf: the Forsaken (Promethean: the Created has been considered, but is ill-suited to fixed locales, due to Disquiet and its long-term tendency to create Wastelands.) TinyPlots are selected according to what the players express interest in playing. Participation is voluntary, and open to any player with an IC reason to become involved. They may be run by either staff or players (in the latter case, the player is given a limited staff bit for the duration of the plot). [2]
Novo Upanje is a World of Darkness (or nWoD)set in San Arden, California. San Arden is a fictional city of about 1.3 million people, set not too far from Los Angeles.. and it is a city with some problems. A recent plague has wiped out all the cities supernatural denizens - as far as anyone can tell - and then completely vanished. Naturally, this has left a power vacuum, and if there's anything supernatural beings are good at, it's seizing opportunities for power. Novo Upanje, the MUX, is designed upon three core principles - honesty, fairness, and politeness. It is focused upon the players and the staff working together to create stories, and is working on completing its simi-open chargen system. [3]

Recently, I have started looking for a good fantasy based MUSH to play on. For some reason, I ended up on a WoD (World of Darkness) game instead. A good thing too, as I’ve found that I thoroughly enjoy playing on this game. Presently the game is extremely small as far as playerbase, which gives new players an excellent opportunity to make waves. The game is set in the fictional city of San Arden, CA, which I feel was a good idea for the administration to do as it gives them the opportunity to create from the ground up an excellent place to jump in and roleplay. One of few sites that I have (since deciding to play in a WoD type game) seen that has decided to go with the nWoD setting instead of the old WoD game setting. Again, this is something I feel is a bonus. Through my limited knowledge of the World of Darkness theme and research, I’ve come to find that the new World of Darkness setting seems fresh and rewarding to players new to the Storytelling system. Certainly, if someone decides to look for a new genre of game, a change of pace, somewhere to start fresh and to be able to influence a growing game, Novo Upanje is at the very worst a place worthy to stop by, and hopefully at the very best the last place you’ll ever need to go!
