SumuMUD is a Finland based mud, founded 1996 and based on fantasy genre, on a structure of multiguild, universal skill & spell system and multiple races. SumuMUD is an equipment mud, where one of the goals of the game is to gain good equipment, that can be saved through reboots in rental lockers or in castles. Co-operating with other players is encouraged, as the players can not solve most of the quests just by themselves, but need an organized party. Players can build castles where they can store equipment. The castles are fully customizable, allowing custom descriptions, and guards, traps, doors and other items.
