Colorado Dreams has been a good game from the start. Though, there have been up and down times. However, what game hasn’t had them? I've been RP’ing for roughly about 6 years(give or take a year), Colorado dreams is the perfect place to come home, relax and to open up that client. The staff and players love to have fun, chat on the public channel and RP with all and anyone. The player ratio can be low at times, especially over the holiday seasons. But the same players come back again and again to play. The players have been long time players, having been with the game from the beginning of it opening up. The idea is to have a fun and happy game where you want to come back. There is only, I think, a couple of Old Western based RPG’s out there. For those that love to play that time period, it’s the perfect game for you. From the Outlaw to the Socialite, the character concepts vary. The game invites you pick a character concept that is right for you, and will help the game to move along with RP smoothly. There are staff members that are available to help you from concept to descriptions, at all times of the day. The staff jokes around, has fun, and hopes that you’ll join in the fun and laughter of the game. I started out as a player at the beginning of this game opening. I loved it, the whole concept of everything that the staff try and do for the players as well as the players that try and help you too. I moved into a Staff position, not because I wanted to be lording over anyone, but to help improve the already good game, to a great one. If this sounds like something YOU want to be a part of… I urge you to come check it out. What’s the worse that could happen?

I have been on the MU Colorado Dreams for about a while now. I have enjoyed it immensely, starting at Nevada and moving on to Colorado Dreams. Character Creation is simple and most can be approved within one to two days. Like anyone else staff do have a life outside of mush but there is always staff available after a certain time and the staff has always been readily to answer questions or to help. We are in a sense, like family there, least wise that is how I feel about this particular Mush. I appreciate what the Staff do for the Mush and the help they do provide. And if no one is on at the time and a newbie shows up, I do try to help if I can as does anyone else that happens to be on. Like any roleplaying Realm, we have our quiet times, but there's always a roleplay going on majority of the time. Sometimes between two people or sometimes three or more. I'd recommend this Mush to anyone who wishes to roleplay in a Western Theme Mush. Its user friendly, newbie friendly and pretty accurate in my point of view as to the era. I hope to be roleplaying in Colorado Dreams for a very long time . Thank you To the Staff and Thank you to Charity for showing me a new realm of roleplay.

At first I thought this would be an interesting MU* to try out, i've always been a fan of historically-themed games and all. I logged on to find an active staffer and one or two PC's, but I figured that would be about par for the time i was logging on. Character creation is simple and not overly complicated, easy enough to get approved and RPing. When I finally got IC, i discovered i had 50 dollars, and that is it. Items usually cost about 75-100 dollars on average, so you're pretty much broke to begin with. There is no paycheck system, so you have to badger staff for paychecks. Everything has to take place between players, you are not allowed to get coded items from NPC's... and since there are never more than 2-3 people logged on, it is notoriously difficult to do anything. The staff are not helpful in answering questions at all, they often resort to using bad language to get their point across. The actual historical theme is not what I thought it would be, a murdering outlaw can be made the sheriff of the town merely because he is the only active player who could really fill the role with his stats. My largest problems are the lack of players, the attitudes of staff towards newer players, and the lack of available RP. Heaven forbid you are put in jail, as you are expected to serve out your time in real life days, so a 3 month sentence is really.. a 3 month sentence... RPing with the sheriff if you're lucky. Other than that, it's a great place to idle on, maybe pose a few lines every other week, but that's about it.

I've been playing on various MUSHs and MUXs for nearly 13 years. I've staffed at various places for nearly seven years. Though all of my years, I have never worked on a MUSH that was so laid back and so comfortable. The players are welcoming and friendly and the staff is so kind and helpful. We work hard in order for players that have never played on a MUSH or MUX before. We take the time to help players that need it and, if needed, we will take the time to walk the player through chargen and anything else that they have problems with. I can truly say that I am happy to work here and I would not trade it for anything.
